The initial cutting board can be made using the initial of the first name or last name. If you are gifting this to a couple just make sure they both have the same last name, if not we have many other personalized board styles.
We think this board lends itself to more of a serving board than a cutting board. With that said it is perfectly fine to cut on. We tell people to cut on the back and display or serve on the front, a serving board + a cutting board.
