The story behind our version of the seder plate: Our niece recently married a Jewish man and so our minds started racing. What can we make to gift them? A Passover seder plate, of course! One that can be personalized with a family name, an heirloom gift that will last a lifetime.

We did a lot of research to make sure we got this right. As with all new products we have tested our version of the seder plate with family and friends and now are ready to share with you.

Chazeret means lettuce, not horseradish

Hi Josh,

The Hebrew word for horseradish on our seder plate is correct. You may have been confused by the customer picture which shows lettuce and not horseradish. This customer just choose to use lettuce instead of horseradish. The translation is correct as verified by a Rabbi.

Beautiful modern seder plate

I had scoured the internet for a modern Seder plate that was unlikely to break if accidentally dropped on the floor by my kids and not insanely expensive, when I came across a Seder plate on the Words with Boards website. I loved the design and the story behind it. Because it was only a couple of days before Passover, I didn't expect to receive the Seder plate in time, and figured I would just use it next year. However, I contacted Kim, one of the owners, who expedited the shipment, and I received the Seder plate within a couple of days. It is beautifully crafted, and I can tell the wood is high quality. Kim really went the extra mile and I will definitely be purchasing more items from here.
