    This custom cutting board takes on a wedding theme with a dancing couple cut out. A forever reminder of their first dance as a married couple.

    • Made with butcher block, using sustainably forested American hardwoods.
    • For each one purchased a tree is planted.
    • American Made in Baltimore, Maryland.

    The first dance is always the most memorable at a wedding and this custom cutting board will be a reminder of that special moment in time. 

    Do you know how the first dance tradition came to be? It is a tradition dating back to royalty in 16th or 17th century Europe, depending who you ask.
    The guest of honor, usually the king and queen, would lead the ball by dancing first. It then became the guests who danced first and today it is the bride and groom who welcome's their guests by taking the first dance. So, like most things this centuries old tradition has come full circle.
